Julebingo (Christmas bingo) 2023 was an event hosted by my class from Danish School of Media and Journalism. The point of the event was to raise money for our study trip to OFFF Festival in Barcelona aril 2024.
Solution
The main illustration of the poster is a broken bird cage (symbolizing a caged peace-dove). The cage is made out of newspaper headlines from articles about non-peaceful matters such as war, climate crisis, hunger, inequality, etc. The two feathers and newspaper cutouts lying in front of the cage ("TIME" and "for change") symbolize that there is need for change in a world that is full of hate and conflict.
